Our mission

Our values

  • Integrity matters.
  • Service above self.
  • Honesty is a given.
  • Humility is a gift.
  • Dedication is fundamental.

We're the ARCECS and we're not your average ham radio club.  For over 50 years, we've answered the call to help when all else has failed.  The ARCECS was founded in 1964 in the Queens Chapter of the American Red Cross as an amateur radio group.  Over the years, we've developed into a devoted organization with a very specialized focus and mission; to assist the American Red Cross during communications emergencies and disasters.

Our members have countless hours of radio communications experience,  specialized training, equipment and FCC licensing.  With that develops a comradiere like no other.  We cordially invite you to attend our meetings and public service events and we welcome you to join our proud organization as we begin our 2nd half century!
